Waste Licenses

Shred & Recycle Permit number EPR/CP36295T

The permit is for physical treatment of non-hazardous waste facility. The operator to accept, treat and store redundant athletic tracks, rubber shock pads and waste Astroturf for reuse. The site is permitted for an annual throughput of 10,000 tonnes. Treatment onsite includes shredding, cutting, and screening of Astroturf as well as bagging and baling of scrap fibres for reuse in the plastics industry.

The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 Permit number EPR/CP36295T The Environment Agency hereby authorises, under regulation 13 of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 Shred & Recycle Limited (“the operator”), whose registered office is The New Farm House Houghton Hill Farm Houghton Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE28 2DH company registration number 05868077 to operate waste operations at Shred & Recycle Sawtry Way Wyton Cambridgeshire PE28 2DX to the extent authorised by and subject to the conditions of this permit.
